Friday socials

Social dances are held in Richmond Town Hall (DL10 4QL) each month from September to May (except in April), usually on the first Friday of the month (see the calendar for dates). We enjoy dancing together to recorded music, from 7.30 to 10.00pm. The cost is £4, including tea/coffe and biscuits provided during the interval. 

The programmes for each social are prepared and recapped by members of the branch, including an interesting variety of old and new, well-known and lesser-known dances. Cribs are available on our website in advance (usually a few weeks before).  If you'd like to be put on our mailing list to receive the cribs and other information by email, please contact us let us know.  

Visitors are always welcome, so please do come along and dance with us! Whilst the socials are not suitable for beginners, all dances will be walked during the recaps as needed, and there will be plenty of friendly faces around to help newer dancers and anyone who may be feeling less confident.
